SANS Securing Windows at Univ. of Maryland, 12-17 December

The University of Maryland, Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce that the SANS Institute course Securing Windows will be hosted at a substantial discount here in College Park, Maryland on December 12-17, 2005. This special offering is solely for members of the education (K-12 and higher-ed) and law enforcement communities. Proof of affiliation will be requested at registration. The conference will take place in the Stamp Student Union's newly-remodeled Grand Ballroom, a large and comfortable facility. Wireless internet access will be available during the class and breaks. The Union has a food court with fast food, a sit-down restaurant and other options for meals on-site. Prior to 11/11/05, the fee is $695, After that date it increases to $795. Upon completing the class, participants are eligible to sit for the associated GIAC test (GCWN) for a fee of $300.
