On Monday, April 25, EDUCAUSE Live! will feature Michael Griego, Wireless
LAN Project Manager at UT/Dallas, for a presentation and discussion on
802.1x security:

The 802.1x standard has recently become a viable option for providing true wireless network security. When deployed
properly, 802.1x can authenticate wireless users and provide robust over-the-air encryption. This presentation will
outline the journey The University of Texas at Dallas embarked on during the deployment of 802.1x. It will also touch
on future issues related to wireless and wired authentication and accounting using 802.1x.

1-2pm Eastern time. No charge, but registration required.
