Director of Information Security University of Kansas Medical Center The Director of Information Security provides technical, policy, and project leadership to the computing and network security activities of the University of Kansas Medical Center (including Kansas University Physicians, Inc.). We're looking for a self-starting and independent professional who works effectively with people and approaches problems and issues carefully and systematically. Position requires bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in a technical discipline, 3 years related experience, knowledge of information security policy and best practices, knowledge of networks and servers, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. CISSP or GIAC certification preferred. Higher ed experience helpful. The IS Director supervises 2 Security Specialists and reports to the University Chief Information Officer.
