It also suggests closing windows by clicking the "red X" which can be
reprogrammed to install software -- best to use alt+F4 to close windows

It's a good page, but one item may need adjustment:

It says "Choose 'no' when asked unexpected questions".  But "no" is not
always the right answer.

Some spyware installers are now asking the question in the negative, as
in "Do you wish installation to stop for Mega Super Search and Keystroke
Logging Enhancer?"

A well-meaning user might just fall for that trick.  They need to read
the dialog, and choose the null outcome, not always "no."
