Very interesting article with valid points. There is a Perl scripts collection mentioned in the article that provides for constant scans of residential networks to identify compromised systems. The author suggests the script writer is considering open sourcing the scripts if encouraged to do so through the comment/feedback tool available at the end of the article. -DMO ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Diana Mayer Orrick email: orrick () acns fsu edu Academic Computing & Network Services ph: (850) 644-2591 Florida State University fax: (850) 644-8722 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Wed, 22 Sep 2004, Craig Blaha wrote:
