The Indiana University School of Medicine is in the final evalautions of
our choice for email encryption and Microsoft Certificate Authority is
in the lead primarily because it's not supposed to cost us much at all.
The CA supposedly comes with Windows Server 2000/2003 and we want to
couple it with Microsoft's Rights Management Service which will help us
control access to files, folders, and servers as well as provide email
encryption. We're currently working with our Messaging people though
because IU acts as our ISP and they would have to deploy an additional
server or two to support this idea. We're going to sugest that all
covred entities on IU use the same solution which will make things a
little easier for them.

No war stories yet though....... We've only fired a shot across the bow
and no return fire has been noted as yet......
