If so, what are you using?
Some of our departments are using either S/MIME or PGP.
2) Do any of you make recommendations on how to "sanitize" hard drives for PCs and/or MACs that are being "surplused"?
We put together a document that might be of some use: http://www.itso.iu.edu/howto/secure-delete.epl -- Tom Davis, Information Technology Security Officer, CISSP, CISM Office of the VP for Information Technology, Indiana University For PGP Key: https://www.itso.iu.edu/staff/tdavis ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Discussion Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/cg/.
