Vodafone Germany admits to another data breach [Global Data Point]

A partner agency in Kaiserslautern threw away documents with confidential customer information into a paper recycling box on the street. This included information such as customer addresses, bank details and copies of their personal IDs. Vodafone said that the mistake was made by a temporary employee and that it had informed federal data protection and telecoms authorities.
