http://rochester.ynn.com/content/top_stories/649662/two-sentenced-for-credit-card-fraud/ Two people were sentenced Thursday in Rochester for using people's credit card information stored in a hotel computer. Attorneys say David Pierleoni, 26, of Rochester, and Cassandra Dehn, 27, of Missouri, worked together to get credit card numbers, codes and expiration dates. Dehn was an employee of a hotel in Missouri. They say she sold the hotel's computer to Pierleoni for $100. Attorneys say Pierleoni and another man then used the credit card info to buy high-end liquor and food at Rochester businesses, totaling more than $20,000. Pierleoni was sentenced to 42 months in prison for aggravated identity theft and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and Dehn was sentenced to three years of probation. Both were ordered to pay back almost $23,000 in restitution. _______________________________________________ Dataloss-discuss Mailing List (dataloss-discuss () datalossdb org) Archived at http://seclists.org/dataloss/ Unsubscribe at http://datalossdb.org/mailing_list Supporters: Risk Based Security (http://www.riskbasedsecurity.com/) Risk Based Security equips organizations with security intelligence, risk management services and on-demand security solutions to establish customized risk-based programs to address information security and compliance challenges.
