Security breach affects card uses tied to Wilderness arcade

A security breach exposed as many as 40,000 credit or debit cards used in arcades at the Wilderness Waterpark Resort 
near Wisconsin Dells and a companion resort in Tennessee, and a handful appear to have been affected, an arcade 
supplier said Monday.
 
A spokesman for Wisconsin Dells-based Vacationland Vendors Inc. said in a statement that it discovered on March 22 that 
a hacker gained unauthorized access its arcade credit-card processing systems at the Wilderness resorts in Lake Delton 
and in Sevierville, Tenn., east of Knoxville.
 
While 40,000 cards were exposed, the company said it believes fewer than 20 were actually affected.
