Canada: 600 B.C. patients' data in stolen laptop (fwd)

The laptop, stolen Aug. 21 from the pulmonary function lab, contained such patient information as names, birth dates and personal health card numbers. Contrary to hospital policy, the information was not encrypted or protected by a password, said David Plug, a spokesman for the Fraser Health Authority.
