A Colorado Department of Corrections official says the financial records 
of more than 1,000 members of its staff were accidentally e-mailed to 
other employees.

Department spokeswoman Katherine Sanguinetti says a payroll employee 
intended to send generic insurance benefits information but instead sent 
the records to 103 co-workers on July 31.

She says among the information were Social Security numbers and birth 
dates of 1,084 employees and their children.
