So RSA paid lots and lots of money for NetWitness, as I'm sure everyone on this list
knows. But let's be straight: NetWitness would not have helped RSA when they got
owned by a professional team (as they just did, and I believe about 1% of what they
are saying about this attack on their blog - as should you).

So where is the value in NetWitness? Obviously, if you want to suck data off the
network and analyse it, NetWitness is your go-to-guy. But the network is always the
wrong place to be, especially the giant pipes at the door to your network.
