Sr. Security Engineer - George Washington University

George Washington University is seeking a highly qualified individual to
fill an immediate opening within the Information Security Office. The
candidate's primary job function would be to perform penetration tests
and application security assessments. As such, candidates must be:

1. Self-motivated and able to work with little oversight.
2. Able to perform detailed and thorough assessments on technology
infrastructure prior to deployment.
3. Able to convey both orally and in written form the results of
analysis, as well as remediation strategies.

Basic Technical Requirements include:
1. Extensive experience performing vulnerability assessments and
application testing. This includes both remote and local assessments
against Windows and UNIX hosts and their applications.
2. Knowledge of scripting languages and networking protocols.
3. Competence in analyzing Java and Javascript is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. In addition
to health care and other benefits, GWU offers its employees 96% free
tuition for Undergraduate, Masters, and PhD programs.
