-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Here I am, spending all day writing code in a language that is statically typed. It's like eating all your food with a good helping of sand. How does one convert a byte[] buf; into a String so you can send it down the wire using a DataOutputStream class? Oooh, let's chain a bunch of converters together. Blimey! It's cool that Sun GPL'd Java though. Probably one of the smartest things they've ever done. There's really only a few real software licenses. If you use anything other than a mainstream license, you condemn your code to languish unused. There's L/GPL, BSD, and OTHER. That's basically it. If someone has to send your license to a lawyer they won't bother even downloading it. Which reminds me, the Navy wrote the world's best wardriving tool with a Java GUI that's so beautiful it has to be seen to believed. I was like "That can't be Java". So I know it's possible to be productive in Java, I just don't see how. - -dave -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFFWPsQB8JNm+PA+iURAjwaAJ0WAI9+RJuR6oo1TqH3NOgo9R6DtACgpD1x /G4JjMnIPTRWm+NhbLJR06M= =8cPb -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Dailydave mailing list Dailydave () lists immunitysec com http://lists.immunitysec.com/mailman/listinfo/dailydave
