Just to understand the problem:We want to have a 16-bit hash function that for each DLL in the set {k32, u32, s32 (possibly more)} gives a non-colliding output for all APIs in that DLL ? That sounds doable. On the other hand, a 16-bit hash that for the set of all functions from DLLs {...} doesn't collide sounds a bit harder.
