"What the Hack" woes

Hey all,

it appears that the municipality of Boxtel in the netherlands
does not want to issue a permit for the "What the Hack" 
security conference, for fear that such an event would be 
a "danger to law and order and public safety". 

I would like to encourage the bigwigs on this list (basically
everybody who is working at an institution that sounds like a
mayor would like it and consider it pro-public-safety, such as
companies that produce software he might've used or government
agencies charged with securing infrastructure) who were planning
to go to drop a friendly email to gemeente () boxtel nl, explaining 
that you're not a threat to public safety and that you think "What
the Hack" would be a positive gathering of responsible adults.
