It is not SEO. SEO is related to META fields, optimized URLs and so on ...

They just build fake pages/links that redirect to the homepage. The 
keywords in those pages are not relevant to the homepage itself or any 
parts of the website. They just fool Google and Google's users. Porn 
website use the same tips. The only goal is to bring up the traffic and 
sell more advertising.
