The Dec. 1 release was a one-off: it was released because IFRAME was being actively exploited and the exploits were being publicized. (I think they released early based more on the second reason than the first... ;) When MS04-040 was released, we noted that they released the December security bulletin page with a date of December 14 (they have since revised the initial release date to be correct) -M On 12/13/04 2:13 PM, "halvar () gmx de" <halvar () gmx de> wrote:
Hey all, does anyone still understand what sort of patch release schedule MS is on these days ? They used to be on "second tuesday each month", right ? But they also released a patch on Dec 1, does that imply we're all done for this month or do we have some goodies to be released tomorrow ? Cheers, Halvar _______________________________________________ Dailydave mailing list Dailydave () lists immunitysec com https://lists.immunitysec.com/mailman/listinfo/dailydave
