Is Microsoft being hurt by opensource products enough that they are resorting to these scare tactics? I know there has been a lot of publicity over firefox and such but I would be actually surprised if it was hurting MS enough to notice. -----Original Message----- From: dailydave-bounces () lists immunitysec com [mailto:dailydave-bounces () lists immunitysec com] On Behalf Of Rodney Thayer Sent: Monday, November 22, 2004 11:38 AM To: dailydave () lists immunitysec com Subject: Re: [Dailydave] 283 Patents ... "283 software patents not yet reviewed by the courts" is what they say. I don't see their list visible either. I think "not yet reviewed by the courts" is presumably a euphemism for "not yet challenged". If they are using their terms correctly and these are issued patents, someone somewhere must have a list. And they've been declared legitimate - it's not like an unissued patent where even the USPTO hasn't legitimized it with a number. At 04:32 AM 11/22/2004 -0800, halvar () gmx de wrote:
