Hi,

Anybody on this list ever receive any amusing survey requests?

I recently received the following message:

are a reader of one of the publications sponsoring this research. 
The sponsoring publication has suggested that you may wish to

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO THE SPONSOR IS, YOU WILL BE GIVEN THE 
OPTION OF FINDING OUT AT THE END OF THE SURVEY.

And then it rambled on and then provided the link:
http://www.data-cross.co.uk/survey/link.asp?liSurveyID=274

So, what’s so amusing?  Well, firstly the mail was sent to an address
I only use for receiving that publication - so guessing the sponsor
wasn't rocket science...

Second, try http://www.data-cross.co.uk/survey/link.asp?liSurveyID=&apos;
or http://www.data-cross.co.uk/survey/default.asp?liSurveyID=274&apos; or
whatever else grabs you... 

And these sponsors pay good money?

Oh - and if you want to redo the survey - just delete the cookie!
