It seems that persistent caching can be disabled in the key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings\Cache\ Add a setting Persistent of type REG_BINARY with a value of 00000000. According to the Persistent Caching plugin of X-Setup (http://www.xteq.com), "After Persistent Cache is disabled, clearing TIF & History folders from Tools/Internet Options/General Tab will purge retained URLs.". The author of this plugin is Ojatex () aol com. I haven't tested this, but it seems worthwhile. Sander Goudswaard
