Objective C uses trampolines, also. GNU libc 2.0 uses trampolines ...The next version won't. I've sent Ulrich a patch which makes the Linux part of glibc trampoline-free (there were rather fewer than I expected). Since no one uses ObjC, that should make a non-executable stack possible.
