There are certain files that have predictable file handles... As Brent has mentioned several times, if you can predict what the target's response will be, you can continue to send packets in...
The predictable filehandles are generally only the root directories of filesystems (newfs w/o a patched fsirand). Walking up from that directory to more interesting files is going to be impossible if you can't get any response. Casper
