Dont think so.. Lets say that ./foo is a valid directory.. Then foo// would be the same as / (correct????)
Nope. Same as "./foo". Repeated slashes are counted as a single slash. At least on the versions of UNIX that I have played around with, the empty string is the same as ".", so foo// is the same as foo/./, which of course is the same as ./foo ...Robert
