The best thing for you to do is completely remove /dev/nit from the system, and make sure noone can get access to mknod to recreate it. -john
Of course you realise that deleting mknod from your system has the incredible effect of also removing all copies, and even the kernel calls underlaying it from the rest of the universe. Proff
