Hi all,
Many thanks to all who have suggested possible solutions. I am looking at
zoneminder as of now.
I am going as wired as I can. I have remodeled my house so provisions for
cabling have been incorporated. Yes, wireless is possible but I do not fancy
going down that route unless I am forced to. Call me paranoid. I plan to use
the local storage on the camera to record a weeks worth of data.I will then
move it to a server.
