Does anyone test the software AsA ( Microsoft attack surface analyzer ) ? 

Could be integrated in a process in order to Help in decision to validate or unvalidate a software application 
deployment  in a production desktop environnement ? 

Does someone know any equivalent software ?

Does exists solution/database which Could help me to categorize some software application before to deploy in 
production environnement? À kind of category list like category definded by proxy for web acces .
