Hey everyone,

Do you know of an application that will do one of the following:
a) Generate a baseline system profile, install applications via a script,
and then compare what was done to the system with the baseline profile?
b) Track all changes to a system while running?

Basically I need something that will track all changes on the Windows
platform. This includes all files placed and where, all registry changes,
all registered DLL's etc., and any other system changes.

I'd first take a look at this:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645

I'm sure there are many other tools, but this will give you a good
start on what you want. You might also want to do a validated minimal
installation of Windows, then boot from something that understands
NTFS and can read all of the files to produce a secure hash of all
files on the disk to external media.
