Funny, not two hours ago, I read chapter one of Cisco's new Connected World Technology Report. From their survey of
2,800 college students and recently employed college grads, they found that "more than two of five would accept a
lower-paying job that had more flexibility with regard to device choice, social media access, and mobility than a
higher-paying job with less flexibility."

Related, Kaspersky's June "Global IT Security Risks" survey found that "Access to social networking is completely
blocked in 53% of companies, while another 19% restrict this kind of user activity in some way"

I work for one of the 19%.

Subject: MSIS research

Hi,

My name is Steve Sirag. I'm studying for my Master's of Science in
Information Systems (emphasis on security).

My final research project is to discover the limits corporate
networks place on social networking applications, and how it compares
to online and print discussions of the same.

I've created a short, 10-question survey to collect the data, but I
need security professionals in the workplace to give me some feedback.
 Please help!
