Re: Nmap Scripts (NSE)

A mailing list is for information sharing.

Why would a person reply privately to another person and not allow
others to benefit from the answer. How good is a list where you only
see questions and no response.

By joining a public list you can expect to receive basic questions,
more advanced questions, some days a few messages and other days lots
of messages. This is how mailing lists are.

If the unsubscribe at http://www.securityfocus.com/ does not work you
can write a simple rule that will trash any message from the list and
never bother you again.

Best regards

Clement

Same here. How do we get removed from this email list. I also unsubscribe but it does not work.

To many people hit reply to all when they should just reply to who is asking the question unless another person needs
the same question then they can ask to included

Subject: Nmap Scripts (NSE)

Hi List,

Can someone send some references for good articles/books/blogs/URLs
regarding NMAP Scripting (NSE). I wish to know the basics, and how to
develop a script pertaining to a type of vector/protocol. Simply put, a
guide to NSE and its script development.

Thanks in advance. Cheers!
