I'm interested in hearing what alternative solution/approach you actually took. Oracle Advanced Security, I think, is 
what Kenneth was referring to. But what's even more interesting is Oracle's strategic 11g product roadmap --not just 
for privileged password management (e.g., for distributed environments), but also ESSO (with recent its acquisition of 
Passlogix.
