20,000 IV's isn't too hard to collect if you can just find an injectable packet.

Anyway, using KisMAC on my MacBook Pro, with an external USB Wifi
adapter (the AirPort drivers don't support injection as of the last
time I checked, but USB devices that fit the bill aren't very
expensive), I can usually crack WEP encryption anywhere between 10
minutes and 6 hours, depending on the amount of traffic and whatnot.
Spend some time reading the documentation to get the most out of it.

Caveat: I use aircrack-ng to do the actual cracking once I've dumped
enough packets, since KisMAC's actual cracking phase isn't transparent
enough for my tastes.

For WPA, all you need is to capture a handshake from someone
connecting to the network--and then you need to spend a ridiculous
amount of time bruteforcing the encryption. If the key isn't in your
list, you're pretty much boned. I've heard CoWPAtty can do a
rainbow-tables-style lookup against common SSID's (you can google to
find the tables, I'm sure) but I haven't actually tried that out yet.
