Hi Folks:

I got the following questions in regards to the TrueCrypt. Your prompt answer would be greatly appreciated:

1) Rescue Disk Recording (Cannot Verify that the rescue disk has been correctly burned.) It was burned by "Nero" (Burn Image to disk option)

2) Is hardening work better or TrueCrypt?

3) When the Windows 7 version of it be released

Again, thanks a lot for your great work!

Respectfully yours,

Bob Kiani

Just use truecrypt so no 3rd parties could get (i.e. those who work for the storage company or in transit).

1. create truecrypt container
2. stick your files in it
3. burn container to cd
4. send to 3rd party doc storage place on cd, snail mail if need be, doesn’t matter as cd is encrypted.

Hi,

We can store this for you if it is needed.
We will encrypt this key with another encryption method and store it in a
offline site where it is safe.

In my company we'd like to store offsite a copy of a private key we use
for protecting confidential data.

Ideally, the company should be:
- software oriented (there are similar services for putting documents in
boxes, but it's not the case)
- the storage should be disconnected from the internet
- to retrieve the data some kind of human verification
(challenge-response, solve P = NP, et similia)
- resident in UK/IE

Is there some company that provides this service, or something similar?
Are there better (safer/more efficient) solutions?

Thanks,
Saverio
