Hi,

If u r talking about network/remote threats, there are many types. Broadly classified list, as follows
1. DoS/DDoS
2. ARP/DNS Poisoning
3. Buffer Overflows
4. Cross Site Scripting (XSS)
5. CSRF...ClicJacking...XSS...
6. MITM - Man in the middle
7. SQL Injection
8. Malware/Spyware/Adware etc.
Attacks are not limited to these. There are many vulnerabilities which can be used depends on attackers imagination.  
You can google it for different types. Place to start off with is wikipedia.
