Tell that to Gary McKinnon and Max Butler, both headed for likely life sentences. I'd say the problem here, if any, is the inconsistent and seemingly arbitrary nature of the sentences being doled out by the justice system. Keep in mind that the justice system makes a rather large distinction between robbing someone at gun point and robbing them through the intarwebz. Also, white collar criminals have always received more lenient sentences than, shall we say, "less subtle" criminals. Steve Mullins
