I tried using the latest version of true crypt with my windows vista 
system encrypted. Worked for few days, later installed some programs and 
after a reboot the true crypt loader didnt appear. So Ive put true crypt 
cd with my key to restore and nothing happened with varius restore 
systems.. Thankfully I had hirens boot cd and repartitioned the drive on 
my laptop. Lost all data not just the system partition. Most partition 
programs couldnt even see other partitions but one did and all it saw 
was unpartitioned space of 150 gb.. Was lucky to have a backup for Vista 
so after repartitioning I had my system back. Will never use true crypt 
again for partition based encryption.
