Hello Dotomokino,

I agree with Sergio's answer. For sniffing traffic on Wireless
network, any wireless card can be used.  One of the best tools (open
source) to achieve this task is Wireshark (formerly Ethereal).

However, if you wish to sniff traffic where SSID is not visible or
detectable or is hidden, then you would have to carry out packet
injection, for which you would require special cards such PRISM or
Airpcap supported wireless cards.
