I would recommend your thoughts/analysis/etc. on how the security industry can become more proactive and less reactive on protecting against viruses, worms, bots. Etc. Just the thoughts of someone who teaches Information Security at ITT Tech. This year I also need to write a dissertation (80-120 pages) on a computer-related subject. I'm free to choose which subject as long as it provides some added value to my general education. As I'm genuinely interested in IT security, I was thinking of choosing a topic in this field. Some subjects that already came into my mind are: IDS/IPS or NAC technology. I wonder what you think about these subjects, which one would you prefer? Are there any other subjects you might recommend to write a dissertation about? Many thanks for your help and advice! Best regards, Chris
