If those computers acting as proxy servers can be reached from the outside, the problem could be cumbersome, altough if it is for local lan stations and you have proper firewall rules in your gateway (i.e no port forwarding to those stations acting as proxies) then i dont think it should be a big deal assuming that those stations have no sensitive data, etc. Altough of course some may go paranoia and tell you about viruses and othre threats coming into those stations (the ones having no internet using your local proxy servers) and infecting your whole LAN. Anyways that depends on the security of those proxied stations. So if they are not supposed to have access then cut down the problem and add some firewall rules.
