Another option you have is if your office is running XP Pro on its desktops, you can setup something like a Pix firewall, and have them VPN into the network, but only allow port 3389 and have them use RDP to take over their desktops. This way they have access to everything in the office just as if they were sitting at their desks, and you dont have to worry about their PC's.
