I agree fully, this is not a good idea. something doesnt add up about it, maybe its the geocities website that gives me a bad feeling about it. The only "free-securty" consulting i would take would be personal referances or maybe someone doing there masters/uni degree and wants to use your company as a case study. Even then I would be VERY carefull.. Just think what they could do, DL your client lists, copy databases, install back doors.. its very very risky if you ask me. If your a non profit and need security type services try asking some security firms or even your local "Small business" centre. They will have contacts for you of companies / people that will help you out Im sure. Cheers J. On Thu, 2005-10-06 at 03:32 +1000, Lederer, Bernard J CTR USA ATC (NCI) wrote:
Um... No! Not that they are not trustworthy. I am not saying that @ all, I do not know them, nor have I heard of them. I just do not think I would trust my companies security to this person based off of what I found on a GeoCities page. Are these people reliable, how we actually validate if they are trustworthy? I would appreciate if you can share your views. Best Regards, Huiling __________________________________ Yahoo!
