Hi all,

I just wanted to clear something up. With all this talk of Nessus going
closed source, I was kind of holding off looking at in more detail. But
this article seems state that Nessus 3 will still be freely available, only
realtime updates will cost money (as well as support). Is this the case?

Thanks
Brad

The following SecurityFocus interview was published today:

Tenable discusses the Nessus 3 release
by Federico Biancuzzi

SecurityFocus interviews Ron Gula to get a glimpse of Tenable's upcoming
free (but closed-source) Nessus 3 vulnerability scanner. The discussion
looks at license changes, community involvement, daemon security, new
features, GPL open-source versus free, NASL, and more.
