I have had good luck with afraid.org, which will provide DNS hosting for free. They have helpful scripts on the site you can run from the Windows scheduler; I run the script once an hour to update the DNS servers in case my public IP address lease expires and changes. -----Original Message----- From: tony () koos cc [mailto:tony () koos cc] Sent: Tuesday, November 15, 2005 3:26 PM To: pimp mastermind; security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Re: a dns/named help? Hello, This is my first post and hopefully I am doing it correctly. One option for you if you do not want to run your own DNS server is to use dynamic dns. There are many operators out there that offer this service for 20-30 a year. The two I have used are dyndns.org and no-ip.com. AK
