Greetings. I have read the various responses you have received, which were sent to this list. I am still curious though, what do you intend to do with the telnet server/service? (BTW, amongst other things, netcat is perfect for running a telnet server on any port desired.) Nmap *is* available for the win32 platform. There were some issues, still may be, regarding SP2. This is an awesome tool! Also, have you investigated nessus? [ http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=nessus ] Another nifty thing to check out is 'firewalk'. Also, Chris McNab's, "Network Security Assessment." O'Reilly is my friend. ciao .times enemy
Hi, Im need a program for windows xp that is able to listen to a any port. I need this program to install it on a server and then use another machine to telnet to each port I configured on the program on the server. I need this just to check Firewll rules i configured before switching Firewalls. thanks very much !!
