There are some issues with AIDE 0.10, however, alot of changes have been added to CVS. You should be ok if you download a CVS copy of the source.

I wasn't too keen on AIDE and tripwire (free) seems to have issues w/ segfaulting on most modern distros. Is it even being actively developed or forked to another project?
