I've never heard of a MSSP that uses a beowulf cluster type of setup. There are a lot of new startup MSSP's out there and I would check out any new companies thuroughly before making a desision. Many have 30 day trial offers. When we did research for our company we finally decided on Postini due to their reputation and affordable cost - less than $1.50 per person per month. We have been happy with them so far. Other companies like Counterpane and Frontrige cost far too much for the meager services they offer, not to mention one of the tech's I reached one day during our trial knew nothing about their own product, and I had to wait over a week to get an answer from one of their engineers.
