All,

The Honeynet Project (http://www.honeynet.org) has just published a new
Scan of the Month (SotM) challenge, number 34.

While the level of the challenge is marked 'Intermediate', it presents a
fun puzzle to solve even for beginners!

See all the details at: http://www.honeynet.org/scans/scan34

This month challenge purpose is to analyze a diverse set of logs captured
on the honeypot by various monitoring and auditing systems in order to
determine whether (and how) the honeypot was compromised.

Submissions are accepted no later than Monday, May 9, 2005. The
best entry will win an author-signed copy of the book "Security Warrior".

Best of luck and we hope you enjoy the contest!!

Best,
--
