The MS04-11 patches should take care of the flaw but a number of
problems especially with oracle servers have been documented.  Solutions
have been published but do not work 100% of the time.

was there an update to this patch, or should the 4/13
release have been sufficient to prevent todays chaos. 

I can not find that there has been an update, but
according to hfnetcheck the md5 sum on the patch has
