I don't know if anyone monitoring this list has had much experience in this arena but most of us have at least grazed it. I'm looking for some good reference material and perhaps even vendor information for PDSs. If there are other lists that you think might be useful I'd appreciate that information as well. If you know any good telecom lists please let me know. Thanks. for the benefit of the moderator (this was kicked once): a protected distribution system is just what its name implies. a protected system for the distribution of services. examples are fiber optic lines that are vibration sensitive to protect against splicing; hardened carrier systems for housing network cables; and methods of TEMPEST shielding. In the DoD this is covered by Information Assurance Pub 5239-22. Kevin --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ethical Hacking at the InfoSec Institute.
